Happy Easter 2011!

Happy Easter to each of you! We had a nice Easter at home this year. After church we got together with some close family friends and also my family to celebrate and eat some good food! It was nice to relax and be with those I love.

Easter family photo.

Daddy is wearing his new navy suit!

Abigail and Mommy both wore flowered dresses:)

A few weeks before Easter our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt. They were able to find 11 eggs each and there were different areas set up for each age group. It was nice for Abigail to not have to worry about the big kids taking all the eggs:-P

Abigail wore her "Somebunny loves me" shirt.

I took Abigail to a local bakery to get a bunny cookie!

Bowling

There have been so many firsts for Abigail this year so far. Here are pics from Abigail's first time bowling.

They had a 6 lb ball for her.

We used the ramp that they had for kids. This made things a little easier for Abigail.

Abigail did better than Nick and had two strikes!

I had to get a pic of the shoes!

Hershey's Chocolate World

At the end of February, we took Abigail to Hershey's Chocolate World for the first time. Since it was "Chocolate Covered February," they had lots of fun events and discounts going on. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go back more this summer once they open the park. Abigail loves chocolate kisses! That was one of her favorite treats when she was potty training. It was neat to see everything again. Nick had not been since he was a little boy so it was cool to watch the two of them taking it all in.

Lots and lots of kisses.

They had a special band performance.

Abigail with one of Mommy and Daddy's favorite chocolate bars!

Abigail was not sure about the characters. Then she cried and was very upset when they left.

We bought Abigail her very own chocolate kiss pillow and a kiss balloon.

Kinder Gym

Abigail took Kinder Gym this winter in February. It was a once a week class for 45 minutes. SHE LOVED IT! I had been wanting for a long time to sign her up for some sort of dance or gym class. Below you will find pictures from a few of the classes and also a video. She learned how to stand in line, sit on one spot on the mat, some gymnastics, balance skills, stretching exercises, following the teacher's directions, etc. She can't wait now for Preschool in the fall. Enjoy!

Abigail is in a pink shirt and black pants.

Here she is in a brown shirt and pink pants.

PA Farm Show 2011

Abigail was so excited about going to the Farm Show this year. She talked about it for weeks after she went last year. I really wanted to take her two times but my car was in the shop, so we were only able to go once. It was a fun time and I can't wait for next year! I planned out a few things I wanted to see and eat before we went. Abigail touched more of the animals then she did last year. We definitely had some good food for lunch! I had heard that the Maple frozen yogurt was the thing to have at the Farm Show. Boy was that right!!! It was delicious:) Abigail is in this "cheesy smile" phase. It is very funny:) Enjoy the pics of all the fun things we saw and did.

Abigail did not want to stop petting the horse!

A cute picture of Mommy and Daughter:)

This bunny was sooo soft!

The ducks are always the cutest thing to see.

The butter sculpture is a very big deal at the Farm Show. I don't remember seeing it last year but I made sure we saw it this year! It was crazy awesome. I think they used 1,000 pounds of butter.

I watched a special on TV about the Bee Keepers Association in PA and Abigail was so interested in seeing the bees.

They even showed us the Queen bee!

The carousel was a huge hit last year so Abigail had to ride it once this year with her Honeymama!

Here is a video of Abigail petting the bunnies.

Snow Storms 2011

We have had about a handful of snow storms this year. Nothing like last year! Cities on the East Coast have seen more then we have. I figured I would share some photos from the different snow storms and two fun videos I took!

Our biggest snowfall this year

We finally were able to build her first snowman. I was very ill prepared and only had a baby carrot for the nose. We used strawberries for the mouth and sunglasses for the eyes.

Abigail decided to eat some snow even though I told her not to:-P

A funny video of Nick sledding down a HUGE hill at the local high school. We walked over there and a ton of people had been sledding, sking, and snowboarding. There were lots of different crazy sized hills for us to try.
